The owener wanted an addition and major interior renovations.
The task was to design and
build an addition to create a first floor family room,
dinette area, and full bathroom, with a second story
play area and sewing room. The addition included
Anderson double hung windows, doorwall, and bay
window, along with a Velux Egress Skylight. The bathroom has a four foot
acrylic dome shower, a Toto one-piece toilet, and
a vanity with Marbelite countertop/sink. We installed an oak
stairway and railing to the upper level and an engineered
pre-finished wood floor. We installed a new pitched roof
over the existing garage, a new brick chimney from the
roofline up, a new porch cover with barrel ceiling,
Wolverine siding, and GAF dimensional asphalt
shingles.
