The customer wanted an addition and major interior renovations, creating a
second story master suite, with bedroom, bathroom,
sitting area, and office. All upper level windows are
Pella Architectural series including one custom
made trapezoid window. The bathroom includes
a ceramic tile shower with a built-in bench, a wall mirror
from vanity to ceiling, and American Standard
faucets. We completed renovation of the first floor bathroom
with a Kohler cast-iron tub, ceramic tile, a Kohler
pedestal sink, beadboard paneling on the lower walls,
wall sconces, and an arch top medicine cabinet.
We removed two bedrooms to create a family room, we rebuilt
the rear porch with new Pella windows and doorwall,
and added a new front porch slab and cover, with a slightly
curved sidewalk. The addition was finished in brick to match
the existing brick and we extended the masonry chimney. We installed
a Majestic fiberglass pre-finished front entry door, Elk
Prestique dimensional shingles, Alside Charter Oak
siding, Raynor garage overhead door and operator,
and aluminum gutters.
